Decontee T. King-Sackie is the Managing Partner of ZE’AD Advisors/Consulting Firm. Decontee is a Chartered Accountant, a Lawyer and a Trade, Tax, Customs and Forest Governance Expert with over 16 years of cumulative experience in macroeconomic revenue and sustainable forest governance, trade, tax and customs policies making and administration design, formulation, and implementation, and management of regional and national projects and program management involving multinational corporations and development partners. Decontee is an excellent communicator and reformer with solid experience in supervising and leading multi-disciplinary and diverse teams in national policy making and the implementation of reform and modernization programs and projects for continuous improvement in governance focusing on revenue mobilization, trade, natural resource management and anti-corruption.
Decontee is a motivated leader that believes in team work while working independently and under pressure in a result-focused, fast-paced and sensitive environment. She served as Deputy Commissioner General Technical Affairs at the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) for eight (8) years (2014 – 2022) and held senior level positions in the Department of Revenue at the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (now Ministry of Finance and Development Planning – MFDP).
Decontee is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA and the University of Liberia, Cuttington University Graduate School and A.M.E Zion Community College (now A.M.E. Zion University) in the Republic of Liberia. Decontee is a professional Liberian woman, a wife, a mother of three (3) beautiful children, a lecturer, mentor and a humanitarian.
